Pick a base, add what you need

One-time cost, and the site and domain are yours on handover. Add-ons work on any base, so a single page can carry booking or a chat assistant if that's what suits the job.

Market context

What this normally costs

Published ranges for the same kind of work, so you can put my numbers next to everyone else's rather than take my word for it.

$0$5,000$10,000+

Why mine are lower

Not because the work is thinner. Because there is nobody else to pay.

  • No office, no account manager, no project manager billing hours against your job
  • One person doing the design and the build, so nothing gets handed between people
  • No sales team, which is why the prices are on the page instead of behind a call
  • I take on fewer jobs at once than an agency, so the overhead never gets built in

Figures above are published industry ranges, not my estimates. Freelance web design commonly runs $1,500 to $8,000 per project, or $50 to $150 an hour. Most US small business builds land between $2,000 and $8,000. Agency work typically starts around $6,000 and climbs well past $35,000. Upkeep plans for small business sites generally run $95 to $195 a month. Your own quotes may land outside these ranges — worth getting two or three either way.

Upkeep

Optional monthly plans

These cover hosting, updates and changes after launch. They're optional, and the site stays yours either way.

Essential

Hosting, domain and SSL, security patches, weekly backups and uptime monitoring. If something breaks, fixing it is included.

$99PER MONTH

Standard

Essential plus two hours of changes monthly — photos, prices, hours, crew — and a quarterly traffic summary in plain English.

$179PER MONTH

Priority

Standard plus five hours monthly, upkeep for quote flows and the chat assistant, and same-day turnaround on requests. Required if you take the chat assistant.

$349PER MONTH

Pay annually and take 20% off. Most small businesses pay $95 to $195 a month for full-service upkeep, which puts Essential at the floor of the market and Priority where it belongs — on sites running quote flows and chat.

Common questions

Before you get in touch

Why are the prices published?

Usually the first thing you want to know is the rough size of the number. Having it on the page means you can decide whether it's worth a conversation on your own time.

What do you need from me?

Photos of your work, your services with rough prices, your hours, and the best number to reach you on. If photos are thin, we can start with what you have and add more as jobs come in.

Do I own it?

Yes. The domain is registered in your name, and the site is yours on handover whether or not you take an upkeep plan.

How long does it take?

About a week for one page, ten days with quote requests, two to three weeks for a larger site. Most of that time is gathering photos and copy, so having those to hand moves things along.

What if I already have a site?

Send me the link and I'll take a look. Sometimes a few changes to photos and contact details do more than a rebuild would, and I'll say so if that's the case.
